The purpose of this book is to disseminate, through descriptive case studies, information about innovative practices by looking at the problem that led to an innovation; the solution that was designed and implemented to respond to the specific challenge; the actors and steps involved in the innovation process, and lessons learned.

The United Nations and International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) launched the joint publication, Collection of Important Literature in Strengthening Capacities of Supreme Audit Institutions on the Fight against Corruption at INTOSAI’s 64th Governing Board meeting in October 2013. The publication aims to support capacity development of auditing institutions in their anti-corruption work by providing easy access to relevant articles from INTOSAI’s and United Nations on forensic auditing, advisory audits and provision of management advice and citizen engagement in auditing for anti-corruption. Contributions to the book were compiled by DESA/DPADM and the Board of Audit and Investigation (BAI) of Korea in its capacity as Chair of the INTOSAI Platform for Cooperation with United Nations.

| Outcomes of the Expert Group Meeting on e-Procurement |

The outcomes of the Expert Group Meeting (EGM) "E-Procurement Towards Transparency and Efficiency in Public Service Delivery" held from 4 to 5 October 2011 at United Nations Headquarters, New York, are now available. The concept paper presents an option to the UN for moving towards the development of a Knowledge Guide on E-procurement to assist member states in better understanding the challenges and issues associated with the implementation of an e-procurement program within their individual jurisdictions.
