Call for Papers and Projects - Workshop by Liberation Technology Program at Stanford University
  The Program on Liberation Technology at Stanford University will be organizing a conference on Technology and the Right to information at Stanford during 11-12 March, 2013.  The multi-disciplinary conference hopes to bring together people working on various aspects of how the use of information technology could have an impact on recording, storing, processing and making sense of information in meaningful ways.  A call for papers has been issued and we invite people working across disciplines to participate.

First Face-to-Face Meeting of the GLD Working Group
The Government Linked Data (GLD) Working Group will promote its first face-to-face meeting from 29 to 30 June 2011 in Arlington, Virginia. The GLD Working Group is an initiative of the The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), an international community where member organizations, full-time staff and the public work together to develop Web standards.
