Dear Colleagues,
In line with the Division's commitment to promoting the sharing of information, kindly be advised that, in addition to posting your mission report in the travel database, all mission reports should be uploaded on the DPADM Intranet. Please make sure that the fields of the check-in form specified below are completed as follows, which will ensure that the system will automatically pick up the report and place it on our Intranet:
- Type: Select 'UN-DPADM' so that only the DPADM Staff can view the document - Content Type: Select the value 'Mission Reports' - Portal: Select 'Intranet-DPADM' - Activity/Project: Select the related activity
Once that has been done, kindly send an email to all staff (DESA-DPADM) with the link to your document. If you need any assistance, please contact the Chief's Assistant of your respective Branch.
Thank you in advance for your usual cooperation.
Best regards,
Haiyan _________________________ Haiyan Qian Director Division for Public Administration and Development Management United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Tel: 1-212-963-3393 | Fax: 1-212-963-9681 Email: qianh@un.org Website: www.unpan.org
Dear Chiefs/OICs,
As discussed in our recent DMT Meeting, I would like to draw your attention in ensuring that contribution of staff members to: Division and Department-wide initiatives, the UNPAN portal and other ad-hoc related assignments, that are not part of the regular work of the staff member, must be given due recognition and appropriately reflected in the staff's e-PAS. Chiefs/OICs are requested to not only encourage staff in improving knowledge management work, but to also lead by example. In this regard, kindly find attached additional guidelines for the completion of e-PAS. An amended version of the e-PAS Designated Signing Authorities, which takes into consideration field staff, is included below. These guidelines have been posted in the intranet under Library, Policy and Guidelines, for ease of reference. Please see links below. Thank you in advance for your usual cooperation.
