This just in. The House of Commons Finance Committee wants to know what you think about the federal budget. Not the controversial omnibus “Trojan horse” bill that MPs are currently tussling over but next year’s budget.
The committee just issued a news release to begin their pre-budget consultations. Finance committee chair James Rajotte is excited about a new social media innovation to this year’s consultations, an online questionnaire. As he says in the news release “Certainly, all Canadians are invited to contribute their responses to the questions posed by the Committee.
Too bad the website for this public consultation looks so daunting.
