Prime Minister Stephen Harper today welcomed the appointment of Anne-Marie Robinson as President of the Public Service Commission of Canada. This appointment, which was recently approved by the Senate and the House of Commons, is effective immediately.
Ms. Robinson has been serving as acting President of the Public Service Commission since January 1, 2012. The Public Service Commission’s mission is to safeguard the integrity of staffing in the federal public service and the political impartiality of federal public servants.
