Mortgage improvement strategy in Azerbaijan has been developed and submitted to the government, said the chairman of the Central Bank Elman Rustamov.

He says one of the key points of the strategy is facilitation of mortgage, including a social one: “The matter is not about interest rates or terms, but also about implementation of a new mortgage model. This model envisages ensuring access to mortgage through charges of population, construction of economy class houses and sale through mortgage”.
