A "round table" discussion, dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of the media as an important factor in the formation of civil society, was held in Navoi.

At the event, organized by the Navoi regional territorial office of the Independent Institute for monitoring the formation of civil society and regional department for the Press and Information, the need to increase media coverage of the social and political reforms and the formation of a strong civil society was underlined.

The participants also discussed issues relating to civil posture of journalists and improve their social responsibility in the formation of a strong civil society.
