The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan has approved amendments to the law on guarantees of freedom of entrepreneurship, under which all irrecoverable contradictions and obscures of law arising in connection with entrepreneurship, shall be construed in favor of a business entity.
The document has been prepared in accordance with the Concept of deepening democratic reforms and civil society formation, proposed by President Karimov in November 2010.
It aims to create favorable conditions for further development of entrepreneurship, providing business entities with required privileges and guarantees, including through public support to them.
The amendments to the law were adopted by the Legislative Chamber of Uzbek parliament in January 2012.
The law on amendments will come into force after signing by the president and published on the press.
