In Kyrgyzstan, medium-term prediction of socioeconomic development of the country for years 2012-2014 was adopted. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev penned the corresponding resolution.

The document was adopted “with the purpose to estimate macroeconomic parameters of the development and designing medium-term budget for years 2012-2014, aimed at the gradual socioeconomic development of the republic.”

According to members of Government, medium-term prediction of socioeconomic development of the country was based on the analysis of socioeconomic development in 2008-2010 and scheduled socioeconomic development of the country in 2010, which is the bases for designing medium-term budget for years 2012-2014.

“During development of the medium-term prediction, officials studied changes of scheduled indexes of Kumtor minefield developing companies; prices of manufacturers of GDP forming sectors; reformation of remuneration system in budget sectors (increase of salaries to public sector employees); change of consumer prices for basic foods, which affect the living standard of the population; estimates of global prices for food stuff, raw oil, gold,” reported the press service of the Government.
