Azerbaijan to Further Continue Anti-Corruption Policy

Azerbaijan will continue anti-corruption policy, the ruling New Azerbaijan Party deputy chairman said today.

Today, Azerbaijan has become one of the leading states in combating corruption. This policy will further continue," New Azerbaijan Party Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov said. He said the measures to combat corruption have increased in recent months.

"Measures to combat corruption have been strengthened by administrative forms and methods, as well as by improving the legislation work is carried out to prevent similar negative cases. At an event on the Day of Republic, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated about resoluteness to continue measures to combat corruption. It means that it is not a campaign, but the will of the Azerbaijani government to prevent the negative phenomena in the country," Ahmadov said.
