All systems of services both personnel resources and IT service of the Lao Securities Exchange Market are ready for public service and opened selling and buying shares for the public on 11 January, 2011.
This was the confirmation made by Office Director of the Lao Securities Exchange Market, Mr. Viengkham Vansilalom, last Friday.
Concerning the public complaint about the sale of shares, he has noted that the shareholders and local people are able to monitor the fluctuation of stock prices at the Lao Securities Exchange Market on the official website of the Lao Securities Exchange Market, Banque pour le Commerce Laos and Lane Xang Securities Public Company.
The two major listed companies of BCEL and Electricite du Laos are now ready to sell their shares to the public while the sale of shares of Electricite du Laos has already ended, said Mr Viengkham at the first meeting of the shareholders council held on 6 January.
The meeting has approved the council of executive board and inspection committee of the Lao Securities Exchange Market, rule and strategy of the stock market.
