Korea Ranked Among Top 5 of G20 Countries in IT Industry Competitiveness |

Korea is being considered an advanced country in terms of information technology, even among G20 member nations.
This is according to a report released by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, which cited foreign sources including an International Telecommunication Union index the ICT Development Index 2010.
The index compares developments in information and communication technologies in 159 countries.
It also cited digital economy rankings by the Economist Intelligence Unit, and the World Economic Forum's Networked Readiness Index.
Korea has been ranked third among countries surveyed and first among G20 nations in the ICT index and also ranked among the top 5 in the G20 in the other two measures.
