During the ICT Outsourcing Summit, an elite group of CIT professionals from inside and outside Saudi Arabia reviewed the most prominent issues on CIT outsourcing and digital protection. The event was arranged by the Saudi Computer Society in collaboration with Naseba Group and strategic partnership with  (YESSER). The two-day forum reviewed several important items in the area of information protection and security. Panel discussions have witnessed wide interaction by the audience. 

The forum provides for transfer of knowledge and exchange of ideas in the area of digital protection.  Moreover, it allows communication and facilitates dialogue among IT leaders and managers and representatives of major industries in Saudi Arabia. The summit discussed the best practices in addition to developments in the area of outsourcing, and tackling of security challenges and introducing prevailing solutions.

From his part, Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Soma, YESSER’s Director General, delivered a speech on behalf of Eng. M. J. Mulla, CIT minister. He underscored the significance of strategic partnership and constructive cooperation between the public and private sectors for appropriate implementation of the outsourcing concept in order to enable government agencies deliver e-services smoothly and easily.

The first session provided detailed highlighting on the government rules and standards in the area of CIT outsourcing.  A roadmap and guidelines were presented to executives on optimum outsourcing strategies, policies and procedures.
