Angola: Development of Technologies Depends On Staff Training

The emergence of innovations and technology development in Angola goes through staff training, incentive availability of scientific and technological means, said Sunday, in Luanda, the computer engineer Ivo Manuel.

Speaking to ANGOP, the engineer noted that the sector still lacks human resources and infrastructure, despite a considerable growth of information technologies in the country.

Ivo Manuel considered that the development of technology and the improvement of quality of services are fundamental to staff training and competency aimed at better management and use of them.

"Currently technologies are indispensable, they allow access to information and knowledge more quickly and facilitate trade in the distance," said the engineer.

Moreover, he said that it is remarkable in many higher education institutions, national talents who have technological innovations that can contribute to the development and well-being of the society.
