Additional to hospitals, community health centres and clinics; the Department of Health in KwaZulu-Natal currently has about 170 mobile clinics operating throughout the province. The fleet of 22 new mobile clinics will add to the existing fleet and provide expanded and easy access to public healthcare services.
Amongst other forms of usage, the forensic medical mobile vehicle will provide public education on clinical medical forensic, forensic pathology services, procedures to be followed and will also provide health screening services such as blood pressure check, diabetes check and eye testing.
