They were Ghana Health Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana Standards Boards Authority and Adentan Municipal Assembly.

It formed part of activities marking the Public Service Day, on the theme: “Innovation in Citizens’ Engagement for Effective Governance.”

The poorly patronised ceremony experienced an anti-climax when the representatives of the four public award-winning institutions were promised that they would receive their award which spans laptop computers and accessories at a later date.

The UN Public Service Day intends to highlight the values and virtues of public service to the society, as well as their contributions towards the development process. GNA
