The campaign forms part of South Africa's response to the HIV and Aids challenge, with the focus falling on prevention.
President Jacob Zuma launched the HCT campaign in April last year. It aims to promote HIV counselling and testing, encouraging all people to know their HIV status and to be screened for tuberculosis.
To date, more than 12 million South Africans have tested since the launch of the campaign.
During the Sunday event, Motsoaledi will be joined by leaders from the National House of Traditional Leaders, Provincial House of Traditional Leaders, village chiefs, Limpopo Premier Cassel Mathale, Limpopo MEC for Health, and Social Development Dikeledi Magadzi.

HCT Campaign Reaching South Africa’s Rural Areas Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi is taking the HIV Counseling and Testing HCT campaign to the villages as he is expected to lead a delegation to Mafefe village in Limpopo to roll out the campaign on Sunday Approximately 2 000 villages are expected to undergo the counseling and testing programme scheduled to run for three days from 12 - 14 June 2011
