Brief Introduction: The USP (The University of the South Pacific) region covers thousands of islands, spread over 33 million square kilometers of the Pacific Ocean with 1.9 million people, hundreds of distinct cultures and many different languages. USP is a dual mode teaching institution and has 3 campuses and 14 centers, one in each of the member island nations. The Faculty of Business & Economics is one of the largest faculties of USP and the School of Management and Public Administration is one of the major schools in the faculty. The school prides itself on the quality and relevance of its educational programs and the support and opportunities it provides for students and other key stakeholders. The staff in the school provide learning opportunities of the highest standards, and through their experience & research, both academic and scholarly, ensure that teaching and learning materials are at the forefront of business education. The department is constantly rethinking programs and subject areas and has recently developed new learning opportunities in such areas as: International Marketing, Total Quality Management, Decision Making, Services Management, New Venture Creation and Management Applications and Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management for public servants in the South Pacific Region.
