HRH Prince Mugrin bin Abdul Aziz Deputy Crown Prince, Second vice premier, advisor and special envoy of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques honored 11 governmental agencies that won the eGovernment Achievement Award (Enjaz). Sixty-seven government agencies participated in the awards by submitting 183 eServices, out of which 16 were winners.
Arranged by the Saudi e-Government Program (Yesser www.yesser.gov.sa) representing Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, the eGovernment Achievement Award ceremony was conducted at King Fahd Cultural Center on Wednesday November 12, 2014. The ceremony included the launching of multiple eServices developed by several government agencies. The ceremony started with a speech by HRH Prince Mugrin, the sponsor of the event, followed by a speech from HE Eng. Mohamed Jamil Mulla, Minister of Communications & Information Technology.
HRH Prince Mugrin launched several eServices and systems during the ceremony for Ministry of Civil Service, Ministry of Housing and Ministry of Higher Education. HE Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Barak, Minister of Civil Service delivered a speech regarding the launch of their eServices. Then followed the inauguration of phase 5 of (Iskan) portal for Ministry of Housing and speech by HE Dr. Shiwaish bin Saud Al-Diwaihi, Minister of Housing. Upon launching “Universal” system of Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Abdul Gadir Al-Fantoukh, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for planning and information delivered a speech on behalf of the Ministry.
The Director-General of the Saudi eGovernment Program (Yesser), Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Soma, delivered a speech about the Awards. There were videos highlighting the inaugurated eServices in addition to videos about the Awards and the Award’s Jury.
The ceremony concluded with HRH Prince Mugrin awarding the winning agencies in different categories.
