The report will be released during a National Consultative Health Forum meeting in Johannesburg, where improving the quality of care, human resources for health and increased efforts to fight HIV and Aids will come under the spotlight.

The meeting, to be chaired by Motsoaledi, will be attended by health MECs, national treasury officials, local government authorities, Board of Healthcare Funders and the Hospital Association of South Africa.

The stakeholders are expected to thrash out monitoring systems to track progress towards attainment of the targets outlined in the Negotiated Service Delivery Agreement as well as strategies for restoring active community participation in health issues. - BuaNews
