Brazil Fixed Broadband Is Only Service to Grow in Brazil in 2016
Last year, fixed broadband was the only telecommunications service that registered growth in Brazil, adding 1.10 million new contracts (+4.33%), according to data from the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). However, from November 2016 to December 2016, the service reported a decrease of 0.58 percent in the number of contracts. TIM led in terms of subscriber growth (+29.04%) last year, followed by Sky (17.46%) and Cabo (14.38%).
