Brazil's communications ministry (Mincom) forecasts that machine-to-machine (M2M) connections in the country will reach 23 million in 2016 compared with current 8 million.The ministry said that
the growth will be mainly driven by tax breaks for the M2M communications sector that entered into force in May. The government cut the installation inspection fee TFI by 80 percent to boost the M2M market.
