The governments of Argentina and Paraguay have signed a bilateral cooperation agreement to strengthen regional connectivity through optical fibre deployment and the development of DTT. The countries also started negotiations on improving the conditions of international connectivity for Paraguay, the Argentina government announced. For this, they will work in coordination with Argentine state-run satellite firm Arsat. The two countries also agreed to collaborate in satellite services and applications to reduce the digital divide.
