Sri Lanka’s MillenniumIT Ranked Highest Among the Most Respected IT Companies in the Island

Sri Lanka’s MillenniumIT has been ranked the Most Respected IT Company in Sri Lanka for 2014 by the Lanka Monthly Digest’s annual rankings, the company says in the media release. MillenniumIT tops six other technology companies that were nominated in the survey and was also ranked highly in the survey for Innovation and Corporate Culture. Lanka Monthly Digest (LMD) is a business magazine, which has conducted the annual survey together with global research firm Nielsen. The survey was conducted over a period of two months, and the results were formulated based on the opinions of 800 senior executives from the state and private sectors.“It is an honor to be recognized by industry peers as Sri Lanka’s most respected technology company, especially having been ranked amongst some of the country’s corporate leaders across all industries. It is our ambition to make MillenniumIT one of the best performing and most respected technology companies in our industry globally.” Mack Gill, Chief Executive Officer, MillenniumIT said.

MillenniumIT provides IT systems integration and capital markets software, both locally and globally. The company offer its servicers across North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. In the last two years, Borsa Italiana in Milan, Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the Mongolian Stock Exchange went live with Millennium systems. Millennium also went live at the Egyptian Exchange and Bursa Malaysia (formerly the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange), while new projects were awarded at the London Metal Exchange, the Lima Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Exchange, Singapore Exchange and the Argentinian Caja de Valores, amongst others the company said.
