South Korea will unveil statistics on public sector debt including state-run enterprises this year as part of efforts to increase monitoring of deepening public debt problems, the country's top economic policymaker said Monday.

The remarks by Finance Minister Hyun Oh-seok were made during a meeting with lawmakers to discuss the government's budget in Seoul.
