The government has decided to ease one-thousand-650 regulations to seek a business-friendly environment and increase investment.
The government on Thursday made the decision in a national policy coordination meeting chaired by Prime Minister Chung Hong-won.
Under the decision, the government will excuse service sector start-ups, such as broadcasting and publishing companies, from various levies of which only small manufacturing firms are exempted from.
The measures also call for easing qualifications for launching broadcasting and communications businesses, as well as, childcare cooperatives run by parents.
The government will also allow hospitals within free economic zones to operate travel business.
The prime minister asked ministries to swiftly take follow-up measures to revise related laws and improve the business environment.
