Rival parties reached an agreement on the government restructuring plan, floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties said Sunday, in a breakthrough in the political standoff that has left the newly launched Park Geun-hye government in limbo since its inauguration last month.

The agreement was made between floor leaders and deputy heads of the ruling Saenuri Party and the main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP).
