Automating the property registration process in Azerbaijan will reduce the time taken considerably, the State Property Committee said on Wednesday.
The State Committee plans to take measures to simplify the rules for immovable property registration, render electronic services to conduct the state registry, improve the rates for services rendered by the territorial registration administrations and minimise the time for the registration process.
The main goal is to ensure the transparency of property registration, improve and simplify the access to services rendered by the State Committee.
The State Committee has been using e-services since May 1. As of November 1, the number of appeals to the state committee in electronic form reached about 700.
At present citizens have the opportunity to appeal to the regional registration offices in electronic form for real estate registration.
The process of registration and liquidation of the mortgage, as well as the recognition of property rights will be transformed into e-form in the future.
Simplifying the procedure of state duty payment in the process of real estate registration will be one of the innovations.
