The financial and economic crises demonstrate that most governments need to change the way they run their countries. Though some have a better track record of reform than others, all can do more to create inclusive, open and responsible governance that can reduce inequality and promote economic growth.
During the Forum - Better Governance for Inclusive Growth – economists, policy makers, and senior government officials from developed and developing countries will highlight new ideas, identifying good practices and innovative solutions, for advancing the governance reforms necessary to foster inclusive growth.
The Forum is open to media. To register, please contact: news.contact@oecd.org.
For further information on the Global Forum journalists are invited to contact: Laura Skoratko (e-mail: Laura.skoratko@oecd.org; tel.: +(33-1) 45 24 81 72) in the Public Governance and Territorial Development Directorate.
