The number of occupation categories for public servants will be reduced from six to four in approximately 30 years.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that it will revise related laws to combine technical posts with contract workers into one category and to include civil workers in special services into the regular worker category.
If the National Assembly passes the revision bill in October, around 140 legislations under the law will be revised and be implemented starting in 2014.
The government has pushed for the revision of the current law since June of last year to resolve conflicts between occupation categories and to lower the costs of personnel management.
