Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev will participate in a special meeting of the World Economic Forum, entitled "Communication of regions in transition" for the Middle East, North Africa and the Eurasian region, which will be held on June 4-6 in Istanbul.
This forum will bring together more than 1,000 leaders of business and politics, thinkers from various countries for development cooperation, the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said on Friday.
World Economic Forum for the first time of its 42-year activity organizes a special meeting for the Middle East, North Africa and Eurasia. The forum participants will explore new forms of cooperation between the structures of state, business and civil society.
Minister Abulfas Garayev will speak at the session, "Culture as a Means of Social Change."
