The law on registration has entered into force in Uzbekistan today.
The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis in July. It was approved by the upper house in August. It has been recently signed by President Karimov and published in the media.
According to the final article, it entered into force on the date of its publication.
According to the law, Uzbek citizens with housing bought in accordance with the law are entitled to the right to residence in Tashkent and the region.
Direct relatives have a right to registration in a house registered by their relatives.
