Kazakhstan will have had all the features of an innovative state by 2020. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public at during the 'Innovative Kazakhstan-2020' Forum which is held in Almaty.

'We need to clearly realize what the innovation is for achieving this goal. Innovations are new technologies that are called on to improve the quality of life of our citizens and reduce the price for this quality. To be precise, it is new product that gives boost for economy growth and more effective compared to the previous one. In case a new product is more effective than the previous one by 20 percent it is an innovation. Definitely, there are breakthroughs in this sphere as well that increase the level of effectiveness by 100, 200 percent. These are just a few in a number of a series,' the President noted.

The Head of State thinks that scientists of Kazakhstan should strive to create absolute innovations. It is necessary to remember that innovations are not just technological idea but also ideas regarding management and humanitarian sphere. Innovations can be seen and created for many spheres such as education, healthcare, management, etc. 'We need to create our own base of innovative development to join the first group of the countries with the highest level of innovative development. First of all we need to educate and train our innovators. We need people who are creative, resourceful and hard-working. It is becoming the issue of highest importance,' N. Nazarbayev emphasized.
