Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the unitary enterprise “SSP Maroqand” presented a unique system of electronic payments “SMS-To’lov”, developed by attracting experts from Germany and Japan.

The new software is easy to use, said the deputy director general of Uzbek Agency for Communication and information (UzACI) A.Hodjayev at the event.

In order to sign up for the service, a client needs to visit his/her bank to register in the system and link the service with checking account or plastic bank card. The system requires the information security by using digital signatures and was tested successfully by UzACI.

SMS-To’lov is a payment system, generated in the banking automated control system for payments between the customer and the company. It takes few seconds across any model cell phone, without going to banks. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Mobile services, local telephone communication providers, utilities, taxes, airline and railway tickets and many other services can be paid through the system.
