Prime ministers from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states have wrapped up an annual meeting by vowing to strengthen ties, RFE/RL's Tajik Service reported.
"We propose creation of the road map of joint actions for coming decades where we define real steps on implementation of trade and economic cooperation," Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told attendees.
The meeting focused on discussions of Afghanistan, counterterrorism, combating drug smuggling, and organizational budget issues.
The SCO membership includes Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
