The fourth Turkmenistan International Telecommunications and IT Conference, TurkmenTEL 2010, will bring together 300 delegates to discuss intergovernmental cooperation and the opportunities for international investment in the development of the Turkmenistan's and wider region's Information and Communication Technology Industry.
International guest speakers including H.E. Mohamed Jamil Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Amirzai Sangin, Minister of Communications and Information Technology(MCIT), Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Abdul Saboor Nasimzada, Head of Transmission for Afghan Telecom Corporation of MCIT, Elmir Tofiq Velizade, Deputy Minister of Communication and IT, Republic of Azerbaijan, Arthur Levin, Chief, Services Department, International Telecommunication Union and Platinum Sponsor SONY will join the Minister of Communications of Turkmenistan Ovlyaguly Jumagulyev in the opening plenary session of the conference. 30 additional presentations will be made by senior representatives of market leading organisations on topics including Fixed and Mobile Communications, Data Communications Broadband and Internet, eGovernment, Broadcasting, IT Infrastructure and developing Regulatory Frameworks.
TurkmenTEL 2010 is official organised by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and fully supported by the National Mobile Telecommunications Company Altyn Asyr and National Telecommunications Company TurkmenTelecom. Annadovlet Mukhammedov, General Director, National Telecommunications Company, TurkmenTelecom will address the conference in the morning of the second day of the conference.
