Prime Minister S.Batbold will head a council responsible for the largest industrial cluster project to be implemented in Saindhand, Dornogobi Province. At regular meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet approved the Council’s staff and structure. First Deputy Premier N.Altankhuyag will be deputy chairman of the Council, which will comprise of cabinet members, some MPs and representatives from relevant NGO.
In order to provide preparation for the project, the Cabinet also appointed a working group as headed by the Chief Cabinet Secretariat Ch.Khurelbaatar. Members of the working group includes officials from Ministries, government agencies, Governor of Dornogobi Province and some scholars and researchers. National Industrial Park “Sainshand” will be home to several big plants capable to make noticable contribution to the country’s development, including copper-melting, coke-chemicals, construction materials and coal-chemicals. Under the project, other supporting infrastructure facilities and SMEs will be built. Other strategic projects of rail and auto roads, power plant and others will be implemented in connection with the National Industrial Park Project in Sainshand.
