An initiative has been launched to help Saudi women navigate government regulations and procedures as more females enter the work force and lead more independent lives.
The Council of Saudi Chambers and Hawwa Women Services launched the second and third phase of their collaborated national initiative Ejrai (My Procedure) that aims to spread awareness in women about how to deal with government requirements.
Khulood Al-Tamimi, acting director of the council’s Women General Administration, said the parties involved in the initiative had held meetings to discuss arrangements and preparations for the second and third phases.
These parties include Passport Department, General Organization for Social Insurance, Public Pension Agency, the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Commerce, Human Resources Development Fund, General Secretariat of Municipal Councils Affairs, Saudi Credit and Savings Bank and Centennial Fund.
Al-Tamimi said the initiative is focusing on educating women about procedural information and regulations, and assisting them to know their rights and duties.
