The Report will be used for comparative regional analysis of development issues by an elite group of students from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa; the University of Johannesburg in South Africa; and Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa, and the University of Mauritius.
The African Presidential Roundtable to be held in Mauritius on June 1and 2, 2011 will focus on “21st Century Energy Agenda for Africa”. The Roundtable is a multi-continental forum involving former African Heads of State, diplomats, industry leaders, international dignitaries, students and faculty members from the United States, Europe, and Africa.
The African Leaders State of Africa Report and the African Presidential Roundtable are initiatives of APARC at Boston University. Both are funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
