She committed herself to ensuring that whole of Thaba Tshwane area would be clean at all the times.
The cleaning campaign and all its activities focuses on among other things maintenance, general cleaning, and environmental maintenance of the area.
According to the Minister’s spokesperson Ndivhuwo Mabaya, more than 1000 army personnel took part in the campaign.
“We would like to make it an annual event to encourage the soldiers to live in a clean environment,” he said.
Also taking part in the cleaning campaign were defence force senior personnel. The cleaning campaign is set to continue for the rest of the week.
Also present was the Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane Kgosientso Ramokgopa who came to support the campaign.
