On May 12 and 13, Rio de Janeiro will host the seminar Rio: Smart City and the 14^th edition of Rio Wireless. The events aim to discuss solutions and applications of information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to for the improvement and efficiency of public services.

International cases of smart cities and projects of large cities, such as operation centers and cloud services, as well as the preparations for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, are some of the topics that will be addressed in the first seminar, promoted by Network Eventos.

Rio Wireless will address new perspectives in terms of application of ICTs in Brazil. It is expected that representatives of global companies, the Ministry of Communications and the National Telecommunication Agency (Anatel), among other entities of the sector, as well as suppliers and international experts, will be in attendance.
