The Latin American Centre for Development Administration (CLAD) is an inter-governmental organisation, which was established in 1972 at the initiative of the governments of Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.

Its mission is to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge on State Reform and Modernisation of Public Administration by organising specialised meetings, publishing books and papers, rendering documentation and information services, carrying out studies and research and implementing technical co-operation activities among its member countries.
