UPCOMING InnovMed MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES

Methodological Meeting  for the implementation of pilot projects in the Mediterranean Region will take place end of April 2008  in a venue to be determined. All relevant countries will be contacted soon.

Transfer and adaptation of innovations in public administration through pilot projects and Study Tours  in 4 countries
We are in the process of initiating the phase of pilot projects which implies assisting and facilitating the transfer of innovations for 4 to 6 countries in the region who have expressed interest in adapting a concrete innovation. The members of the national teams of replicators are currently working together to review the documentation prepared by UNDESA to facilitate this process (especially the guide and documentation about best practices from around the world).

On-line Forum
We are currently setting up an On-line Forum on UNPAN to facilitate greater sharing of information and discussion among the members of the Network. The InnovMed team is also updating the Web-site. Among other things, we have added the names of the members of the Network on our website.
