The Meeting for the Launch of the Network of Innovators in Governance in the Mediterranean Region, which will take place from 5 to 6 June 2006 in Marseille, France is organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs
(UNDESA) in collaboration with the World Bank Institute
(WBI) and Formez through CAIMED.
About 40 to 45 participants are expected to take part in this event and to provide guidance and substantive inputs into an Action Plan for launching the Network. The Network of Innovators in Governance in the Mediterranean Region is a UNDESA led activity undertaken in cooperation with other partners, including the World Bank Institute, Formez, through CAIMED, and other global, regional and national institutions.
The Meeting and establishment of the Network of Innovators in Governance in the Mediterranean Region is one of the activities of the Programme for Innovation in Public Administration in the Euro-Mediterranean Region (unpan.org/innovmed), which is implemented by the Division for Public Administration and Development Management (DPADM) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, in collaboration with Formez through C.A.I.MED.
