The AGI is currently being updated by the following countries: Benin, Burundi and Tunisia.

The following countries have recently completed updating AGI data:

. Malawi , Niger, Tanzania and Togo (2007)

· Lesotho and Senegal (2006)

. Ethiopia, Republic of Congo, Senegal, The Gambia and Zambia (2005).

. Burkina Faso, Cameroon,Gabon, Kenya, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda (2004).
