Brazil Brazilian 4G Grid Reaches More Than 3,000 Municipalities in August
The 4G network in Brazil surpassed the mark of 3,000 municipalities in August, according to the Brazilian Telecommunications Association (Telebrasil). LTE is now available in 3,039 Brazilian cities, where more than 87 percent of the country's population lives. In twelve months, 4G coverage has grown five-fold. In 2017 alone, 1,513 new municipalities have been connected to 4G.

There were 264,200 complaints from users of fixed broadband, mobile telephony, fixed telephony and pay-TV services against Brazilian providers to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) in September.
