In line within its strategic objective to reinforce the partnership between the public and private sectors, the eGovernment Authority (eGA) announced a new collaboration with Viva Bahrain through the launch of its prepaid broadband and mobile recharge eService on the eGovernment portal.
In a meeting recently held at eGA's head office between Viva CEO Eng. Ulaiyan Al Wetaid and eGovernment Authority CEO Mr. Mohammed Ali AlQaed, along with a number of officials of the two corporations, both parties discussed the process to launch the service on the portal and the means of upgrading it to provide comprehensive, effective and high-quality services to Viva's customers
"We firmly believe in leveraging the latest practices and partnership initiatives of the public sector. In line with this,we have launched Viva's prepaid recharge eService through the eGovernment portal bahrain.bh, as a step towards extending more service facilities on a wider scale to further enhance our customer satisfaction," stated Al Wetaid while noting that work is currently under progress to list postpaid eService on the portal within the following months.
"We are keen to increase partnerships with the private sector in order to improve collaboration among corporations to achieve better results that are in line with the new eGovernment's national strategy 2016. This strategy emphasizes on the importance of joint cooperation between the public and private sectors," said Al Qaed while expressing his pride in the growing partnership with the private sector which should be given a leading role in contributing to the consolidation of the national economy.
Those wishing to take advantage of the eService can access 'Viva Prepaid Line Recharge' service to enter the required data in swift, easy steps; including the type of package (mobile or broadband), the number and amount to be paid.
