The GOV IT 2008 Summit will address how to use eGoverment to effectively provide services for its citizens as well as the transformation of the public sector. It will provide attendees access to an unprecedented amount of information in a variety of mediums as well and create a unique platform to source new technologies and solutions. The participants will also be able to interact with world renowned Solution Partners in order to discuss their needs and identify effective and efficient implementation methods. Additionally the opportunity to participate in workshops and think tanks provides a unique interactive approach. The theme of the annual conferences of NISPAcee this year is "Public Policy and Administration: Challenges and Synergies". The objective is to facilitate a better understanding of important issues regarding administrative development and policymaking capacity in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The Conference includes experts, scholars and practitioners who work in the field of public administration in Central and Eastern Europe (including all countries covered by the NISPAcee membership, the Russian Federation, Caucasus and Central Asia), as well as from many other regions and countries of the world.
