SYDNEY, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Australian monarchists have criticized the New South Wales government for not providing adequate information to help royal watchers to see Prince Charles and his wife Camilla during their Sydney visit, local media reported on Friday.
The Australian Monarchist League (AML) said the information about the royal couple's visit published on the government website was incorrect.
"That was removed after (we) pointed out major factual errors in the title and body of the article," AML National Chairman Philip Benwell said in a statement on Friday.
He said a recent search of the website had not come up with any reference to the Sydney itinerary of the royal couple.
"It is a matter of concern that we are being called upon to spend all of our time in manning our phones because the general public is unable to obtain information from the government, whose job it is to provide it to them," he said.
