Summary: Currently, the share of the private sector in Turkmenistan’s agriculture exceeds 92 percent, the Turkmen government said in a message. Thus, agricultural and food products worth 505.3 million Turkmen manats ($1=3.5 manats on Aug. 30) were produced in 1H2016 by the country’s Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the volume of these products increased by 34.3 and 49.1 percent, respectively.
